On Christmas Eve, Noel is alone on the street, and while many families were gathered inside, enjoying the warmth and coziness of the holiday season, one homeless dog was seeking refuge from the frigid winter night. In a cruel twist of fate, the only shelter she could find was an old, discarded Chewy.com box.

Janine Guido, the founder of Speranza Animal Rescue in Pennsylvania, couldn't just pass by and let the poor dog suffer in the cold. She took the dog in, named her Noel, and began the difficult task of gaining her trust.
After much love and patience, Noel slowly started to come out of her shell and follow Janine around. The dog was exhausted and relieved to have finally found a caring human.

Fast forward a few months to March when the rescue received an inquiry about a different dog. But after learning more about the family, they realized that they would be perfect for Noel. The family had a toddler named Oliver, and when Noel met him, they became inseparable.
"They just can't stay away from each other," the family said. Noel has finally found her forever home and is thriving with her new family.
