Buddy, a 13-year-old Golden Retriever, has been Hannah Foraker's faithful companion since her birth. However, when Hannah turned 21, she had to depart for basic training in Oklahoma, leaving Buddy behind.
Hannah felt a deep longing in her heart as she had to part ways with her beloved friends, including her horse named Derby, and of course, Buddy. Therefore, when Hannah returned home during a Christmas break after three long months, her excitement to reunite with Buddy knew no bounds. Similarly, Buddy eagerly awaited Hannah's return with anticipation!
Hannah welcomed Buddy into her life when he was just a puppy. Now, in his old age, Buddy suffers from arthritis and partial hearing loss. Nevertheless, these challenges don't hinder Buddy from giving Hannah an affectionate reception. The moment Buddy catches sight of Hannah, he nestles his head in her lap and sheds tears of joy.
