Puppy Found Starving Is So Loved Now

Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue received an urgent call for help from someone who spotted a puppy in a wire crate covered in feces. The poor pup was in dire need of assistance, and Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue knew they needed to act fast to save her life. They immediately contacted the Detroit Police Department 6th Precinct to assist in the rescue mission.

Upon arriving at the location, the rescuers were shocked to find a tiny, malnourished puppy inside the crate. The puppy, later named Bessie, had clearly been starved and neglected for a long time.

The officers quickly secured Bessie and wrapped her in a warm blanket, and Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue rushed her to an emergency veterinary hospital for treatment. The rescuers were grateful for the quick and compassionate response from the Detroit Police Department, who went above and beyond to help Bessie.

The following day, Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue shared an update on Bessie's condition. She was severely malnourished and dehydrated, but after receiving one night of care at the veterinary hospital, Bessie was already showing signs of improvement. Despite her ordeal, Bessie looked alert and hopeful in the hospital photos.

Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue is committed to providing Bessie with the best possible care to help her recover and thrive. They are grateful for the outpouring of support and donations from the community.
