A couple brought in this little 7 day old baby. Their outdoor dogs had a litter of puppies and they found this one near the fence today covered in ants. Looks like some sort of chҽmicαl bυɾn and head trauma maybe from mom but it’s unknown. Her whole head is wounded and she’s got very bad brain swelling. Please say a prayer for her, she’s not looking so great.
We went into the hospital and she received a drug that helps to reduce brain swelling. We are back home again and I’m continuously checking the glucose, they are back down into a normal range. he’s got a jugular catheter. Still getting IV fluid boluses, antibiotics,
She’s not giving up and neither am I. I’d give up any amount of sleep to give you even the slightest chance at life. Continue sending this sweet baby your prayers. God works some incredible miracles!
Day 5: Parker here checking in! Wanted to show you how wonderful she is looking. Wounds are healing up nicely. Her attitude is SO BRIGHT and her spirits are high.
Day 12: Parker is doing phenomenal and off all of her antibiotics and pain meds. She’s a happy, friendly, and playful little baby. She will not need any addition medical attention.
Day 25: We’ve hit the stage that I can’t eat anything alone in my car.
Day 40: Here’s a little Parker update from her amazing foster Miranda Wall! She’s growing like a flowers and loves to play in the water bowl outside, can’t believe how much this girl has blossomed.
